Turn the dirt and gravel outside your slide-out or awning into a clean, comfortable living space. The Lippert 2022115670 patio mat lays flat in seconds, stakes down to stay put in the breeze, and folds back into its carrying bag when you break camp. Built for year-round outdoor use, it resists UV fade, mold, and mildew whether you are at a full-hookup resort or a remote boondocking site.
A good patio mat does one job well: it keeps dirt, grass clippings, mud, and gravel from following you through the door. Lippert's 8 ft x 16 ft size covers a full slide-out apron or the length of a standard awning run, giving every member of your group a clean place to kick off shoes, set up chairs, or let the dog shake off before coming inside.
The 70% PVS (polyvinyl siloxane) and 30% polyester blend gives this mat a tight, flat weave that is comfortable underfoot but lets water and fine debris pass through rather than pool on the surface. No more soggy mat after a rain shower -- just let it drain and it is ready to use again.
UV-stabilized, mold-resistant, and mildew-resistant materials stand up to sun, rain, and humidity across every camping season.
Metal grommets at each corner accept standard ground stakes (sold separately, Lippert part 2-2001) to hold the mat flat in wind.
At 17 lbs, the mat folds compactly and slides into the included matching carrying bag -- fits in a basement compartment or truck bed.
Rinse with a garden hose or pressure washer. Shake off loose debris and allow to air dry -- no special cleaners needed.
The 70/30 PVS-polyester blend is the same open-weave construction used across Lippert's outdoor mat line. The tight weave provides a stable, non-bunching surface while the open structure allows drainage and airflow. Finished edges prevent fraying at the border, and the refined burgundy color coordinates with most coach exteriors without clashing.
Every mat ships with a color-matched carrying bag. Roll or fold the mat, cinch the bag, and store it in the same compartment trip after trip. No hunting for a separate storage solution.
The metal corner grommets are sized for standard RV patio mat stakes. If your site is prone to afternoon gusts, stakes make a real difference -- the mat stays flat and does not curl or flip. Lippert-compatible stakes are sold separately as part number 2-2001 and are available on our site.
Stakes are NOT included with this mat. Order Lippert part 2-2001 separately if you plan to use the mat on grassy or soft-ground sites where wind is a factor. On concrete or paver pads, furniture weight typically holds the mat in place.
At 8 ft x 16 ft (128 sq ft), this mat covers the full drop zone under a 16-foot awning or the width of a standard double slide. It works equally well as a side patio for Class A or Class C motorhomes, fifth wheels, and travel trailers. The mat is not designed for interior use or as a step pad -- its purpose is outdoor ground coverage.
