The EvoFlex is Camco's premium drinking water hose built for RV and marine hookups where space is tight and a standard stiff hose just creates problems. Its extra-flexible construction holds no memory, so it coils flat for storage, connects without fighting kinks, and never leaves that plastic aftertaste in your water. At 4 feet, it is the go-to short hose for connecting a water filter directly to your city water inlet or for any tight campsite setup where a full-length hose would just get in the way.
Most garden-style hoses are too stiff, retain coil memory, and are made from materials never intended for potable water. The EvoFlex solves all three problems. It is certified safe for drinking water -- free of lead, BPA, and phthalates -- and its formulation leaves zero plastic odor or taste. The UV-stabilized outer jacket resists sun degradation so the hose stays flexible and crack-free season after season, whether you are a full-timer or a weekend warrior.
The 4-foot length is the workhorse short hose in the Camco lineup. Use it as a dedicated filter connection hose between your TastePURE or EVO inline filter and the campground pedestal, or keep one in the bay as an extension joiner. It threads onto any standard 3/4-inch GHT (garden hose thread) fitting -- the same thread used on campground pedestals, RV city water inlets, and most inline water filters.
Extra-flexible compound holds no coil memory. Lays flat, coils small, and will not crimp at tight connection angles common at campground pedestals.
Both ends use nickel-plated machined brass-grade fittings for a leak-free seal. More durable and corrosion-resistant than stamped or plastic end caps.
Lead-free, BPA-free, and phthalate-free. No plastic taste or odor transferred to your drinking or cooking water -- safe for the whole family including kids and pets.
The blue outer jacket is UV-stabilized to prevent sun cracking and surface degradation. Stays flexible even after repeated outdoor exposure.
A full 25- or 50-foot hose coiled up next to a water filter is a tripping hazard and a storage headache. The 4-foot EvoFlex is sized specifically to bridge the gap between a campground water pedestal and an inline filter, or between a filter and your rig's city water port, without excess hose piling up on the ground. Pair it with a longer run of hose downstream of the filter to reach your RV from wherever the pedestal sits.
The EvoFlex is explicitly designed to pair with Camco's TastePURE inline and canister water filters (sold separately). Use the 4-foot hose on the inlet side of the filter where a stiff hose would stress the filter housing fittings. The GHT threads are fully compatible with all standard TastePURE and EVO filter housings.
Both end fittings are standard 3/4-inch GHT (garden hose thread), which is the universal standard for:
No adapters are required for standard RV hookups. If your rig has a non-GHT port (rare), a brass GHT adapter resolves the connection.
The EvoFlex is rated for recreational use -- campground city water hookup pressures typically running 40-80 PSI (use a pressure regulator to protect your RV plumbing if pedestal pressure is unknown). It is not rated for continuous industrial or agricultural use.
