Heavy 13.5 oz vinyl construction, a factory-matched White Weatherguard, and a double-sided Teal Dune Stripe pattern mean this fabric performs and looks great from day one.
The JU148C00 is engineered to swap directly into your existing roller tube without custom cutting or sewing. Two polyrods seat into two dedicated slots in the roller tube, holding the fabric securely at the roll bar just like the original. Standard poly cord sizing means no hunting for specialty hardware.
The integrated design combines the main canopy and the valance into one continuous piece. When fully extended you get a clean, uninterrupted look. When rolled up, the White Weatherguard wraps around the outside of the fabric roll, shielding the vinyl from UV exposure, road scrapes, and weather between uses -- one of the most common causes of premature awning fabric failure.
Canopy and valance are a single hemmed piece -- no separate valance to install or align. Single-hemmed with traditional fabric thread for a clean finished edge.
Factory-attached Weatherguard wraps the rolled fabric to block UV rays, prevent scrapes, and shed rain -- extending fabric life between trips.
Heavier-weight vinyl resists tearing, fading, and mildew better than lighter fabrics. Double-sided Teal Dune Stripe pattern looks great from both inside and outside the awning.

Awning fabric is always shorter than the labeled awning size. This is normal and expected. The JU148C00 fabric measures 13 ft 2 in in length, which fits awnings labeled as 14 ft.
Measurement tip: Do not measure the roller tube end to end. Instead, measure from the center of the right arm to the center of the left arm. That is your true awning width. The fabric will sit approximately 5 in short on each side (10 in total short of the full tube length) -- this is the correct and intended fit for this size.
This fabric installs using the same polyrod-in-slot method as the original Carefree fabric. Two polyrods (attached to the fabric) slide into two slots in the existing roller tube. No drilling or welding required. A spline tool is included to help seat the polyrods cleanly.
What is included: (1) awning fabric with attached Weatherguard, (1) spline tool, and installation instructions. Hardware, roller tube, and awning arms are NOT included.
Maintenance tip: Before rolling the awning up for storage or travel, ensure the fabric is completely dry. Rolling up a wet or damp vinyl awning traps moisture and promotes mildew growth along the seams and Weatherguard edge. Sweep off debris before retracting to protect the Weatherguard finish.
