The RV Designer V201 is a replacement roof vent lid, designed to restore a cracked or sun-damaged vent lid without needing to replace the entire vent assembly. Sun exposure is the most common cause of lid failure, since UV rays degrade the plastic over a few seasons of use. This lid features an aerodynamic shape to help reduce wind resistance while driving, built-in UV inhibitors to help extend its own lifespan, and rust-resistant hardware for reliable, long-term use. The translucent smoke tint still lets some light through into the RV while offering a bit more privacy and glare reduction than a clear or white lid. Installation is straightforward, typically requiring only four screws and about 15 minutes.
This lid is designed specifically for Ventline vents made before 2008 or Elixir vents made from 1994 onward. Newer Ventline vents use a different lid design. Check the existing vent's brand and approximate age, or measure the base and hinge style, to confirm this lid will fit before ordering.
