The 54REBEL-JRV is designed as a drop-in or near-drop-in upgrade over factory-installed pumps from SHURflo, Aquajet, and comparable OEM suppliers. It uses the same standard 1/2 in. barbed inlet/outlet port configuration common to most RV plumbing layouts. If your existing pump uses 1/2 in. barbed fittings and mounts with a standard 4-hole pattern, the Rebel is a strong candidate for direct replacement.
The Rebel is an intermittent duty pump. Do not run it continuously for extended periods. Follow the duty cycle guidelines: up to 30-45 minutes of runtime, followed by at least a 20-minute cool-down period. Running the pump dry (no water in the system) or exceeding the duty cycle will shorten motor life and may void the warranty. Always prime the system before extended use.
