The Specialty Recreation SL1830S is a smoke black replacement skylight for RVs with 18"×30" roof openings — a larger rectangular format found on Class A motorhomes, large fifth wheels, and some travel trailers over living areas and slideouts. The smoke black tint brings overhead light down to a comfortable level, reducing glare and UV heat gain while still admitting natural daylight through the generous opening.
The matching interior ceiling garnish for this size is the N1830D (white ABS frame, clear bubble, ~5"–7" height) — sold separately. If replacing both the outer dome and the interior garnish, order both together. Approved elastomeric sealant is included for the outer installation.

The approved elastomeric sealant included with this skylight is specifically compatible with polycarbonate. Do not substitute self-leveling lap sealants (such as Dicor or similar) — these contain chemicals that react with polycarbonate and can cause cracking and failure of the dome.
The Specialty Recreation Inc. product warranty covers defects in workmanship and materials for 1 year from the date of purchase. Warranty does not apply to damage caused by improper installation.
