The Curt 56521 gives your Chevrolet Bolt EUV a standard 4-way flat trailer connector without touching a single wire. The harness uses OEM-compatible connectors to T into the vehicle's taillight assembly — unplug the existing taillight connectors, plug in the harness between them, and route the 4-way flat output to the rear of the vehicle. No cutting, no splicing, no soldering — just basic hand tools and the included instructions.
A built-in tail light converter handles the signal translation between the Bolt EUV's circuits and the standard combined trailer wiring format. SMT (surface mount technology) circuitry runs cooler, at lower resistance, and handles towing vibration better than older through-hole designs for long-term reliability. A rubber dust cover protects the 4-way flat connector when no trailer is connected.

1. Access the vehicle's taillight assembly 2. Unplug the existing OEM taillight connectors 3. Plug the T-connector harness in between — OEM connectors on one side, vehicle taillight connectors on the other 4. Route the 4-way flat output to the rear of the vehicle and secure as needed 5.
