Trailersphere RVSHDY15 RV Shady -- Custom-Fit Front Cap Window Cover
Precision-cut for two Forest River models that share the same front cap window profile -- the 2025 Campsite Reserve Ultra and the Cherokee Grey Wolf (2025 and newer). This exterior cover installs on the outside of the glass to stop solar heat and UV before it ever enters your trailer, keeping interiors cooler without relying solely on your AC.
Interior window shades and reflectors do a reasonable job, but they work after sunlight has already passed through the glass and started heating the air and surfaces inside your RV. The Trailersphere RV Shady takes a different approach: it mounts on the exterior of the front cap window, intercepting solar energy before it becomes trapped heat inside your rig.
The RVSHDY15 is cut specifically to the front cap window profile shared by the 2025 Forest River Campsite Reserve Ultra and the Cherokee Grey Wolf (2025 and newer). This is not a universal cut-to-fit panel -- it is dimensioned to match the actual glass opening on these two models so edges are covered cleanly without improvised trimming or gapping.
Mounts outside the glass to stop solar gain before it enters the cabin -- more effective than interior-only solutions.
Dimensioned for the front cap window profile shared by 2025 Campsite Reserve Ultra and Cherokee Grey Wolf 2025+.
Shields interior fabrics, flooring, and dashboard surfaces from fading and UV degradation during storage and camping.
Opaque exterior coverage provides privacy at the front of the trailer when parked at a crowded campsite or storage lot.
Glass absorbs and re-radiates solar energy. Once heat crosses the glass boundary, interior shades must dissipate it inside a confined space. An exterior cover prevents that absorption at the source, reducing interior temperature rise and the workload on your rooftop AC -- a meaningful benefit during peak summer camping or extended storage in direct sun.
Forest River uses the same front cap window geometry across the 2025 Campsite Reserve Ultra and the Cherokee Grey Wolf (2025 and newer) product lines. The RVSHDY15 is cut to that common profile. If your trailer is one of these two models and is a 2025 model year or newer (for the Grey Wolf), this cover is the correct part. Verify your model name and year before ordering.
This cover is cut for the specific front cap window on the 2025 Campsite Reserve Ultra and Cherokee Grey Wolf 2025 and newer only. It is not intended for other Forest River floorplans, earlier model years, or other manufacturers' trailers -- even if the window appears similar. Confirm your exact model and year before purchase.
The RV Shady is equally useful for campsite setup and long-term storage. At the campsite, install it on a sun-facing morning to keep the front of the trailer shaded throughout the day. During storage, it blocks UV that slowly degrades window seals, interior upholstery, and dashboard surfaces over weeks and months of outdoor exposure.
