Stop UV rays and weather from destroying your RV tires during storage. The ADCO Ultra Tyre Gard (Part 3951 / 01-1103) delivers heavy-duty vinyl protection in a clean Polar White finish, sized specifically for tires measuring 33 to 35 inches in diameter. Covers come in pairs so both tires on an axle end are protected right out of the box.

Purpose-Built RV Tire Protection That Actually Stays Put

Exposed RV tires sitting in storage -- whether for a season or just a few weeks -- are vulnerable to UV degradation, ozone cracking, and weather checking on the sidewalls. These failures don't just look bad; they compromise structural integrity and can lead to blowouts on the road. ADCO's Ultra Tyre Gard is engineered specifically for this problem, using materials and a fastening system refined over decades of RV aftermarket use.

The flannel backing on the inside face prevents the vinyl from scratching or scuffing your tire sidewalls, while the outer vinyl shell repels rain, dew, and road grime. Overlapping seams and double-needle stitching keep the cover intact season after season, even in windy storage environments.

Heavy-Duty Flannel-Backed Vinyl

Outer vinyl shell repels moisture and blocks UV. Soft flannel backing protects sidewalls from abrasion and holds the cover snug against the tire face.

Bungee-Ball Fastening System

Brass-reinforced grommets anchor an elastic bungee-ball closure at the rear. Creates a snug, custom-fit hold that resists wind lift without straps or clips that can scratch wheels.

Double-Needle Overlapping Seams

Reinforced stitching at every seam edge resists separation under UV stress and repeated installation cycles. Built to last multiple storage seasons.

Sold in Pairs -- Ready to Install

Package includes two covers, one per tire, covering both tires on an axle end. No need to buy separately for each side.

Why Tire Covers Matter for RV Storage

RV tires are a significant investment -- replacing a full set on a Class A or fifth wheel can run into hundreds of dollars per tire. UV exposure accelerates oxidation of the rubber compounds in the sidewall, leading to dry rot and cracking that isn't always visible until a tire fails under load. Even tires with plenty of tread depth can fail from UV-induced sidewall degradation. A quality cover like the Ultra Tyre Gard is one of the simplest preventive maintenance steps an RV owner can take.

Paired Coverage: Each order includes two (2) Ultra Tyre Gard covers. For a tandem-axle trailer or fifth wheel with four exposed tires, order two sets (two pairs).

Fitment and Sizing Guide

Correct sizing is critical -- a cover that's too loose will catch wind and shift; too tight and it won't pull over the tire cleanly. The Size 1 Ultra Tyre Gard is designed for tires with an overall diameter in the 33 to 35 inch range. Measure your tire's overall diameter (not the wheel/rim diameter) before ordering. Common tire sizes that fall in this range include many popular Class C motorhome and smaller fifth wheel fitments.

If your tire diameter is borderline, the bungee-ball system can accommodate minor variation at the edges of the size range. For tires outside 33-35", ADCO offers additional sizes in the Ultra Tyre Gard line.

How to Measure: Stand a tape measure upright next to the inflated, mounted tire and measure from the ground to the top of the tire. That measurement is the overall diameter. Match it to the 33-35" Size 1 range for this cover.

Installation Tips

  • Clean tire sidewalls before covering to prevent trapping grit against the rubber.
  • Orient the cover so the bungee-ball closure is at the back (inboard) side of the tire for the cleanest look and most secure fit.
  • Thread the bungee through all grommets and hook the ball securely so the cover can't shift in wind.
  • For long-term storage, consider also using tire cradles or moving the RV periodically to prevent flat-spotting -- covers protect sidewalls but not the contact patch.
Maintenance Tip: Rinse covers with mild soap and water before storage each season. Avoid folding on the same crease repeatedly to extend vinyl life. Store flat or loosely rolled when not in use.

Warranty

ADCO backs the Ultra Tyre Gard with a limited 3-year manufacturer warranty against defects in materials and workmanship. Retain your purchase receipt as proof of purchase for any warranty claims.

Important Information
  • This listing is for Size 1 only -- fits tires with an overall diameter of 33" to 35". Do not order based on rim/wheel size; measure the full tire diameter.
  • Package contains two (2) covers. For four-tire coverage (tandem axle), two sets are required.
  • Covers are designed for storage use. Remove covers before driving -- do not operate the vehicle with tire covers installed.
  • Covers protect sidewalls from UV and weather but do not prevent flat-spotting at the contact patch during extended stationary storage.
  • Inspect covers periodically during long-term storage. Wind or animals can dislodge even secured covers.
