The Valterra A01-1132VP AquaFRESH Exterior RV Water Filter Kit includes two complete filters, each of which screws onto the end of the fresh water fill hose to filter incoming water right at the source. Inside each filter, granular activated carbon (GAC) reduces the taste and odor of chlorine while also reducing sediment and scale, and KDF material helps limit bacterial growth during storage, extending the effective life of the carbon. The wide-body design allows for increased water flow, and a UV-resistant welded case on each filter holds up to sun exposure over time. Each filter comes with its own spring-reinforced hose saver, since the added weight of a filter can otherwise cause the hose to kink or pinch near the connection.
Replace each filter when an undesirable taste or odor appears in the water, or if water flow decreases significantly, whichever comes first. Actual filter life depends on the quality of the water source. Store unused filters capped in a cool place and protect them from freezing.
