The Valterra A01-0189VP Tank Wand Faucet Hose Kit connects a Valterra tank wand to the RV's bathroom sink faucet, allowing hot water from the RV's own water heater to be used when flushing out the black water tank through the toilet. Since most campground water hookups only supply cold water, this kit gives access to hot water for noticeably improved cleaning power over a standard cold-water rinse. The included faucet adapter threads on in place of the sink's existing aerator, and the clear 6-foot hose then connects from the adapter to the tank wand.
This kit includes only the hose and faucet adapter, not the tank wand itself. A separate Valterra tank wand, such as the flexible 40" wand (part #A01-0187VP), is required and sold separately.
When threading the faucet adapter into place, tighten it just enough to be snug to prevent leaks - overtightening can damage the fitting or the faucet threads.
