AHD (Analog High Definition) wired rear camera for RVs, trailers, commercial vehicles, and marine applications. 1280 × 960 resolution · 19 IR LEDs · 170° diagonal view · IP69K waterproof · Built-in microphone · Normal/mirror image switch · White powder-coated aluminum housing. AHD output — requires an AHD-compatible monitor. Standard NTSC-only monitors will not display HD image. Monitor sold separately.
The Voyager VCAHD25 is a heavy-duty AHD backup camera engineered for demanding vehicle environments — Class A and Class C motorhomes, fifth wheels, trailers, commercial trucks, step vans, and marine applications. It replaces or upgrades aging camera systems with a significant step up in image clarity, night visibility, and housing durability.
At the heart of the VCAHD25 is a 1/3" CMOS sensor delivering 1280 × 960 color video — noticeably sharper than the standard 600-line CVBS cameras found in older Voyager systems. A wide 152° horizontal / 95° vertical / 170° diagonal field of view eliminates the tight tunnel vision common to older cameras, helping drivers see the full width of what's behind them while maneuvering or backing.
Night performance is handled by 19 integrated IR LEDs for low-light and nighttime illumination. The LED array activates automatically as ambient light drops, providing usable image detail in parking areas, campgrounds, and other poorly lit environments without a separate light source.
The housing is white powder-coated aluminum — impact-resistant and rated IP69K, the highest standard waterproof rating for close-range high-pressure wash exposure. The VCAHD25 also passes ASTM-B117 salt spray testing, making it suitable for marine installations in sheltered or bracketed positions. A built-in microphone captures audio alongside the video feed.
A normal/mirror image selector switch lets the installer choose the correct image orientation for the mounting position. Most rear-facing backup camera installations use mirror image; verify orientation before installation.
Crisp, high-definition color video — a major upgrade from the 600-line CVBS cameras in older Voyager systems. Requires an AHD-compatible monitor
Integrated infrared array provides automatic low-light and nighttime illumination — no external light source required in dark campgrounds or loading docks
Highest-grade waterproof rating withstands high-pressure close-range wash. Salt spray tested for use in covered or bracketed marine installations
Field-selectable image orientation ensures correct display regardless of mounting position — reverse the image at the camera rather than the monitor
The VCAHD25 outputs an AHD (Analog High Definition) signal. It will not display a proper HD image on older Voyager monitors that accept NTSC composite video only — such as the VOM718, AOM713, or AOM711. Confirmed AHD-compatible Voyager monitors include the AOM7694HD (7", 4 inputs, 12V/24V) and VOM719WP (7", 4 inputs, waterproof). Confirm AHD input support before purchasing a monitor for use with this camera.
• Class A and Class C motorhomes • Fifth wheels and travel trailers • Commercial trucks and step vans • Agricultural and construction equipment • Marine applications — covered or bracketed installations* *IP69K housing is waterproof; confirm proper cable sealing and use in sheltered positions for saltwater environments.
Voyager proprietary locking extension cables are available in multiple lengths to reach the monitor from the camera mounting position: • CEC15 — 15' extension cable • CEC25 — 25' extension cable • CEC34 — 34' extension cable • CEC50 — 50' extension cable • CEC75 — 75' extension cable Locking connectors keep the connection sealed against dirt, grime, and moisture at each junction point. All cables sold separately.
All VCAHD-series cameras output AHD signal and require an AHD-compatible monitor. The VCAHD25 offers the widest field of view and the highest IR LED count in the family, making it the strongest performer for rear backup use in large vehicles. The VCAHD140I is designed for flexible multi-position mounting (rear and side). All three require a separately purchased AHD monitor.
