1. Hold screen over water heater fitting

2. Hook round end of spring to back of screen over open side of anchor point

3. Holding circle end of installation pin, push pin through screen and center of spring.

4. Place notch on center bar of lower spring coil and push hook toward anchor point

5. Push spring hook past anchor point, turn, and release slowly to hook spring in back

6. Note: screen position can be adjusted using other anchor points

Keep installation pin for future use
