The Zamp Solar Battery Temperature Sensor connects to the unit port on 10AW, 15AW or 30A solar charge controllers. When this sensor is connected the unit will optimize the charging performance based off the battery temp detected and provide over-temperature protection. This will tell the battery to adjust the voltage and temperatures to achieve the best battery charge.
