Hybrid construction drinking water safe hose — 50% lighter than standard vinyl hoses, kink-resistant Tru-Flex core, G-Force abrasion-resistant woven outer cover. 600+ PSI burst strength. Crush-proof brass-threaded couplings. Cold-weather flexible to 35°F. Drinking water safe, lead-free, phthalate-free, Prop 65 compliant. Made in the USA.
The Teknor Apex Zero-G is a hybrid-construction drinking water safe hose built around two key technologies that address the most common complaints about standard garden hoses: weight and kinking. At 50% lighter than a conventional vinyl hose of the same length, a 100-foot Zero-G is genuinely easy to drag across a campsite, coil up, and stow in a compartment — compared to a standard vinyl hose of the same length, which can be a significant chore to manage.
The hybrid construction combines a Tru-Flex pliable inner core that resists kinking with an outer layer of G-Force high-density woven fibers that provide the abrasion and puncture resistance of a commercial-grade hose. The result is a hose that flows at full 5/8" rate, doesn't expand or retract like an expandable hose, and handles jobsite and campsite abuse without degrading. The crush-proof couplings use female brass threads to prevent corrosion at the connection points, and the ergonomic textured grips make threading on a pressure regulator or filter by hand easy to do. Drinking water safe, lead-free, phthalate-free, and Prop 65 compliant.
Half the weight of a standard vinyl hose — easy to drag, coil, and store even at 100 feet
Pliable inner core prevents kinking at bends and tight corners — no more hunting for crimps to restore flow
High-density woven fiber outer cover resists abrasion and puncture equal to commercial-grade hoses
Lead-free, phthalate-free, FDA-sanctioned materials — safe for potable water applications with a pressure regulator
Pressure regulator required for potable use: Per Teknor Apex's own product labeling, a pressure regulator is required in potable water applications other than lawn/garden use. Always use a water pressure regulator between the campground spigot and this hose when connecting to an RV. Flush before drinking: Allow water to run through the hose for several minutes before consuming — standard practice for any hose used for potable water. Max feed water temperature 80°F: Not rated for hot water use. Do not connect to hot water faucets or leave lying in direct sun with water stagnating inside.
• 1x Zero-G 4001-100 Hose (100 ft., gray) Note: Place the rubber washer firmly inside the female coupling before first use — this prevents leaking at the faucet connection. The washer is included but must be seated manually. Recommended accessories (sold separately): • Water pressure regulator (required for RV potable use) • Inline water filter
