My name is Bill Rowell, and I am the founder and owner of RVupgrades. In 2002, I noticed a gap in the market. Buying RV parts online was frustrating, and good options were limited. I had built an online RV forum called iRV2.com where members constantly ran into the same issue. That is when I decided to build a better experience.
While running our family wholesale industrial automation company, Major Electronix Corp, I also fell in love with camping and traveling. I saw an opportunity to combine my business background with my passion for RVing, and RVupgrades was born. The early years were not easy. Dealers and manufacturers were skeptical of online sales. Around 2004, we caught a big break partnering with Blue Ox, and we have grown steadily ever since.
Over the past two decades, the RV industry has changed fast, from search engines to marketplaces. What has not changed is how we run the business: be useful, be accurate, and take care of the customer after the sale.
I am not going to pretend we are perfect. But if we make a mistake, we will own it and make it right. You have my word on that.
