The tallest manual C-Jack in the BAL lineup. Cross-frame stabilizing jacks for travel trailers and 5th wheels with higher frame-to-ground clearance. Combines leveling strength with stabilizing steadiness. Crank handle included. PowerPak-compatible. Set of 2.
The BAL 23231 is the tallest model in the manual C-Jack series — the go-to choice for travel trailers and 5th wheels with higher frame-to-ground clearance that the shorter 19", 22", 25", or 28" models can't fully reach. At 31", it's designed for rigs where the frame sits high enough that the smaller models would bottom out against the ground before applying meaningful stabilizing pressure to the frame.
BAL C-Jacks are a hybrid product — they combine the capacity of a leveling jack with the steadiness of a stabilizing jack. They mount as a cross-frame pair, with each jack applying upward force to the trailer frame from opposite corners, bracing against side-to-side and fore-aft movement simultaneously. Like all C-Jacks, the 23231 is compatible with the BAL PowerPak 12V motor kit (24210), which can be added later to convert the manual crank operation to powered operation — no new jack purchase required.
Designed for higher-clearance trailers where shorter C-Jack models cannot reach the frame effectively
Combines the strength of a leveling jack with the steadiness of a stabilizing jack in one cross-frame unit
Add the BAL 24210 PowerPak 12V motor kit anytime to convert from manual to powered operation
Compatible with BAL 23216 Lock Arm for added security and theft deterrence when parked

The correct C-Jack size is determined by your trailer's frame-to-ground clearance — the distance from the ground to the underside of the frame where the jack will mount. The jack needs to fit in that space when retracted and still have enough extension travel to apply firm upward force to the frame. The 31" model is for trailers with the highest clearance in the C-Jack range. Do not select a jack that is too tall for your clearance — it will bottom out on the ground before making contact with the frame. Measure your clearance before ordering and compare against the full C-Jack size guide below.
The 23231 manual C-Jack is not a drop-in replacement for the BAL Powered C-Jack (21100005). The motorized and manual C-Jack designs are different products. If your RV currently has the powered model installed, you need the powered replacement — not this manual version.
All C-Jack models are sold as a set of 2 with a crank handle included. Measure your trailer's frame-to-ground clearance before selecting a size — the jack must fit in the retracted space and still extend firmly against the frame. All sizes accept the BAL 23200 foot pads, 23205 connecting channel, 23216 lock arm, and 24210 PowerPak motor kit.
