The 44600 pad serves two roles at once. First, it acts as a base layer that prevents the bottom leveling block from direct contact with soft or uneven ground -- stopping that block from rocking, cracking, or sinking. Second, it grips both the ground and the block so the entire stack stays in position when you drive onto it, which is a common frustration with smooth-bottom plastic blocks on smooth pavement or damp grass.
Used without blocks at all, they work as standalone jack pads under tongue jacks, rear stabilizers, or slide-out supports anywhere you need to prevent sinking or surface damage.
