Installing the RVR3210 rails requires placing them crosswise in the truck bed at the correct fore-aft position relative to the rear axle centerline -- typically 1 to 2 inches forward of the rear axle for 5th wheel hitches. The rails are then anchored through the bed floor to the truck frame using the appropriate hardware kit. Once secured, the Patriot hitch leg assemblies bolt to the rail channels, and the hitch head drops onto the legs.
