Heavy-duty tripod kingpin stabilizer for 5th wheel trailers. Slips over the kingpin, each leg drops and tensions independently via ratchet system. 39"–61" adjustable height range. 23 lbs., hybrid aluminum/steel construction, collapses for storage. Padlock included. For full-time and frequent campers.
The BAL 21100000 Kingpin FastJack Full-Timer is the heavy-duty version of BAL's tripod kingpin stabilizer series — built for fifth wheel owners who are full-timers or frequent campers who need a more robust, fast-deploying stabilizer than the standard tripod models. Where a basic stabilizer prop simply braces the kingpin area, the Full-Timer's independent ratchet tensioning system applies upward force on each leg separately to actively resist the sway and bounce from the heavy front overhang common to fifth wheel trailers.
Setup is fast: the tripod slips directly over the kingpin, and gravity helps seat it. Each leg is then extended to the ground and tensioned upward using the ratchet, allowing independent adjustment on uneven terrain without shimming or manual threading. The 39"–61" height range covers the wide variety of fifth wheel kingpin heights. Hybrid aluminum and steel construction keeps the unit to a manageable 23 lbs. while maintaining the strength needed for active tension. Collapses to a compact profile for storage in a truck bed or frunk. Lockable to the trailer's pin with the included padlock.
BAL makes two tripod kingpin stabilizer lines: Full-Timer (21100000 — this item): Independent ratchet tensioning on each leg, hybrid aluminum/steel, 23 lbs., 39"–61" height. Designed for full-timers and heavy use. Higher capacity and more adjustability on uneven terrain. Standard FastJack (25033 / 25035): Screw or drive-screw tensioning, lighter use. Better suited for occasional campers who need a basic kingpin prop. If you camp frequently, full-time, or on varied terrain, the Full-Timer's independent leg ratchets are the meaningful upgrade.
