Next-generation low-profile scissor jack with fewer cranks and a collapsed height of just 3-1/4". 5,000 lb. capacity per jack, double lead acme thread for fast operation, wider frame mounting bracket, in-house E-coat finish. Stabilizing and leveling use only. Set of 2 with crank handle and hardware.
The BAL 24028 LoPro SJ24 is BAL's next-generation scissor jack — designed from the ground up to deliver the same 5,000 lb. capacity as the Classic 24002C with a dramatically lower collapsed profile (3-1/4" vs. the Classic's taller closed height) and faster crank-to-extension speed. BAL describes it as the fastest operating scissor jack on the market, owing to the double lead acme thread drive screw that raises or lowers the jack with half the cranks of a conventional single-lead screw.
The wider frame mounting bracket on the LoPro improves stability compared to narrower-bracket designs, and the redesigned lighter construction reduces weight without sacrificing strength or capacity. BAL's in-house E-coating process is applied rather than the powder coating typical of imported competitor jacks — E-coating penetrates into seams and recessed areas for more complete rust protection. Bolt-on or weld-on installation. Made in USA, limited lifetime warranty.
