The Curt 17008 replaces a factory spring-bar bracket or hanger on a weight distribution towing system. It mounts to the trailer tongue frame and provides a secure attachment point for the spring-bar chain used to apply weight distribution tension.
Its snap-up design allows the bracket to be leveraged into position using the Curt 17112 weight distribution lift handle. A durable carbide black powder coat helps protect the bracket from corrosion and wear during regular towing use.
