The Curt 45405 solves a common towing mismatch: when a ball mount shank is too small to fit securely into a larger receiver tube. This reducer sleeve converts a 2-1/2" x 2-1/2" receiver opening down to a 2" x 2" opening, letting you use a standard 2" ball mount in a 2-1/2" receiver hitch.
Built from high-strength carbon steel, each sleeve is CNC-formed, robotically welded, and mechanically descaled for a smooth surface before being finished in a durable black carbide powder coat for rust, chip, and UV resistance.
