The Curt 49180 is part of Curt's line of towing fabrication components, giving do-it-yourselfers the quality building blocks needed to create custom towing equipment. Made from solid steel for maximum strength, it comes in a raw, unfinished state and is meant to be welded, not bolted in as a slide-in insert.
Use it to extend the reach of an existing receiver or fabricate an entirely custom piece of towing hardware. Each tube includes a 1/2" reinforcing collar for extra strength at the connection point and a pre-drilled hitch pin hole for convenience once your project is complete.
