The Curt 45408 is a two-piece reducer sleeve set that solves the common mismatch of a ball mount shank that's too small for your receiver tube. One sleeve adapts a 3" receiver opening down to 2-1/2", while the second, smaller sleeve adapts down to 2". Use them together to go from 3" all the way to 2", or use the smaller sleeve on its own in a 2-1/2" receiver to fit a 2" shank.
Built from high-strength carbon steel, each sleeve is finished in a durable black carbide powder coat for excellent rust, chip, and UV resistance. Both sleeves install easily and are compatible with virtually any 3" hitch.

This set includes two separate sleeves rather than a single 3"-to-2" piece: one reduces 3" to 2-1/2", and the smaller one reduces 2-1/2" to 2".
