The Curt Venturer NEXT provides dependable time-delay braking control for trailers equipped with up to six brakes across one to three axles. Adjustable gain and ramp-time settings allow the braking response to be tuned for different trailer weights, road conditions, and towing situations.
With no internal moving parts and no leveling requirement, the controller can be mounted virtually anywhere in the vehicle and at any angle. Its slim 4" x 3-1/8" x 1" housing helps keep the installation unobtrusive beneath or near the dashboard.

Curt 51116 is a time-delay brake controller. It does not use an inertia sensor to automatically match trailer braking force to vehicle deceleration like a proportional controller.
