The Curt Discovery NEXT provides dependable time-delay braking control for trailers equipped with up to eight brakes across one to four axles. Adjustable gain and ramp-time settings allow trailer braking response to be tuned for different trailer weights, road conditions, and towing situations.
A digital LCD provides clear brake-output information and full-text diagnostic messages for easier troubleshooting. With no internal moving parts and no leveling requirement, the compact 4" x 3-1/8" x 1" controller can be mounted virtually anywhere in the vehicle and at any angle.

Curt 51126 is a time-delay brake controller. It does not use an inertia sensor to automatically match trailer braking force to vehicle deceleration like a proportional controller.
