The Camco 22484 Water Bandit is a universal spigot adapter designed to help connect a standard water hose to many faucets or spigots that do not have usable threads. One end has a flexible silicone-polymer sleeve that slips over the faucet outlet, while the other end provides a standard male hose connection.
This adapter is useful for RV filling, camping, outdoor hose connections, and temporary water access where the faucet threads are missing, damaged, or stripped. It is intended for temporary use with an open discharge hose and should not be used where back pressure can build up.

The Water Bandit is not intended for use under back pressure. Do not use it with closed hose ends, shutoff valves, spray nozzles, pressure washers, or any setup where pressure can build behind the adapter. Keep the hose discharge end open during use and disconnect the adapter when unattended.

Confirm the faucet outlet is a compatible shape and size for the flexible sleeve to grip securely. This adapter is not designed for every faucet style and is not intended for non-threaded kitchen sink faucets or pressurized shutoff/nozzle use.
Slip the flexible end over the faucet outlet and connect the hose to the threaded male hose end. Keep the hose outlet open so water can flow freely. Disconnect after use and do not leave the adapter pressurized or unattended.
