A dedicated 25-foot flushing hose built specifically for rinsing RV black water tanks, gray water tanks, portable tote tanks, and sewer lines -- so your drinking water hose never has to go anywhere near the dump station.
One of the most important rules in RV sanitation is simple: never use your drinking water hose to flush a black or gray tank. The Camco Rhino 22990 exists specifically for that job. At 25 feet, it gives you enough reach to work comfortably at most campground dump stations without having to reposition your rig.
The hose is distinctively colored -- not white or blue like a standard drinking water hose -- so there is no risk of grabbing the wrong one from your storage bay. It connects with a standard garden hose fitting, making it compatible with campground spigots, inline tank rinser attachments, and reverse flush wand valves.
Reaches from a typical campground spigot to your dump connection without moving the rig.
Delivers adequate flow for rinsing tank walls and flushing debris through the sewer outlet.
3/4" GHT male and female ends connect to campground spigots and Camco rinser accessories.
Distinct coloring prevents accidental mix-up with potable water hoses in your storage bay.
The Rhino 22990 is a single-purpose tool for the wet work of RV ownership:
The 3/4" GHT ends on this hose connect directly to Camco Rhino tank rinsers, inline backflush adapters, and rotating wand attachments. You can build a complete tank-flush system around this hose without any adapters.
For a standard 40-gallon black tank, most experienced RVers run water through a tank rinser or wand for 5 to 10 minutes, or until the water runs clear at the sewer outlet. Running a full tank of fresh rinse water through the sewer hose afterward helps clear residue from the hose itself before you store it.
After use, flush the hose with clean water before coiling. Store it in a separate bag or compartment from your potable water hose -- never in the same bag or wrapped around it. Label it clearly if needed. Most RVers mark it with colored tape or store it in a dedicated zip bag.
This hose is most effective when paired with a dedicated tank rinser (such as the Camco Rhino Flush tank rinser port) or a backflush wand that routes water into the tank through the sewer outlet. The hose alone delivers water from the spigot -- the rinser or wand gets it inside the tank walls.
