Standard fixed fittings can bind or require you to rotate the entire hose to align with the dump station inlet. The pre-attached swivel fittings on the 39659 rotate independently so you can position the hose naturally without fighting the connection. Each hose section uses Camco's standard bayonet fitting system. The male end of one section inserts into the female swivel end of the other, twisting to lock. The connection is secure and does not require tools. When you need more reach, connect both sections. For shorter distances, use one 10-foot section alone -- each section is self-contained and independently usable.
The clear elbow attaches to your RV's 3-inch sewer outlet using the same bayonet system, and the 4-in-1 adapter fits onto the dump station end of the hose to seal against the ground inlet.
The clear elbow and clear extender serve a real purpose: you can watch the waste flow and confirm when the black tank has emptied before closing the valve and flushing with the gray tank. The included storage caps seal both the RV-side and dump-station-side ends of the hose after use, which is important for storage in an RV compartment or bumper tube. After each use, flush the hose, cap both ends, and store out of direct sunlight -- UV degrades vinyl over time.
The 39659 uses Camco's standard 3-inch bayonet fitting system, which is compatible with the full Camco sewer accessory line -- including Camco's Rhino Flex extension hoses, Sidewinder hose supports, and individual replacement fittings. If you need to extend beyond 20 feet, an additional Camco extension hose will bayonet directly onto the existing kit.
