The Camco 40187 is a replacement roof vent lid for the standard 14" x 14" non-powered roof vents found on most RVs — the white domed lid that opens to let air circulate and closes to keep out rain. Over years of UV exposure these lids become brittle and crack, often failing completely during a windstorm or after years of opening and closing. This replacement fits two of the most common vent body styles: Ventline vents manufactured before 2008, and Elixir vents manufactured from 1994 onward.
The lid is molded from impact-resistant white polypropylene and comes preassembled with all mounting hardware included — rust-resistant brackets and screws that thread directly into the existing vent base. No need to replace the entire vent assembly when only the lid has failed.
