The Camco 42154 is the Model RS 800 insect screen — the shorter-louver companion to the 42149 RS 600. Where the RS 600 (42149) fits Dometic refrigerator vents with 20" louver openings, the RS 800 (42154) is sized for Dometic vents with the shorter 8-1/8" louver openings found on different Dometic refrigerator models. The function is identical: stainless steel mesh screens that zip-tie over each louver slot to block wasps, mud daubers, birds, and rodents from entering the vent cavity and building nests that interfere with refrigerator airflow.
Six screens are included — enough to cover all louver slots on a Dometic refrigerator vent with 8-1/8" openings, with extras on hand as replacements. Installation is zip-tie based, tool-free, and takes just a few minutes.

Tool-free, zip tie installation: 1. Open the refrigerator vent panel on the exterior of the RV 2. Position one screen over each 8-1/8" louver slot opening 3. Secure each screen with the included zip ties, threading them through the mesh and around the vent frame 4. Trim excess zip tie length and close the vent panel Tip: Check and clear screens at the start of each season — remove any accumulated debris or evidence of insect activity from winter storage.
The 42154 fits Dometic refrigerator vents with 8-1/8" louver openings only. Despite how some listings describe this product, the 42154 is a refrigerator vent screen — not a furnace or water heater screen. For furnace vents, see the 42140 FUR 100 or 42141 series.
