Connect a free-standing propane cylinder to a grill, camp stove, or other low-pressure gas appliance with confidence. The Camco 59013 delivers a rock-steady 11" w.c. (0.4 PSI) output pressure and handles up to 200,000 BTU/hr -- enough capacity for nearly any portable or mounted low-pressure burner application.
Propane regulators are one of those components that have to work right every time. Too much pressure and you risk damaging appliances or creating a hazard; too little and burners won't light or flame out mid-cook. The Camco 59013 single stage regulator is designed to take the variable pressure coming out of a standard propane cylinder and reduce it to a consistent 11 inches of water column -- the standard operating pressure for low-pressure gas appliances including most grills, portable cookers, and RV-mounted burners.
The regulator uses a standard POL-style or line connection at the cylinder side (1/4" female NPT inlet) and delivers regulated gas through a 3/8" female NPT outlet, making it compatible with the most common low-pressure appliance hose fittings. At 200,000 BTU/hr rated capacity, it has overhead to spare for high-output burners and multi-appliance setups within the low-pressure range.
Maintains 0.4 PSI (11 inches water column) regardless of inlet pressure variation -- the standard for low-pressure gas appliances.
Rated at 200,000 BTU/hr, giving you plenty of headroom for high-output grills and burners without flow restriction.
1/4" female NPT inlet and 3/8" female NPT outlet connect to widely available hoses, adapters, and appliance fittings.
Backed by Camco's one-year limited warranty -- a trusted name in RV and outdoor gas accessories for decades.
This regulator is a direct-connect solution for portable setups where a low-pressure appliance is fed straight from a single propane cylinder. Common use cases include:
"11 inches of water column" (w.c.) is the industry-standard low-pressure output for propane appliances in the United States. It equates to approximately 0.4 PSI or 27 millibars. Virtually all residential-style propane appliances -- ranges, grills, water heaters operating on low pressure, and most portable burners -- are designed to run at this pressure. A single-stage regulator like the 59013 takes the variable tank pressure (which can range from a few PSI on a near-empty cylinder to over 200 PSI in warm weather) and reduces it directly to that 11" w.c. delivery pressure in one step.
Thread the 1/4" female NPT inlet onto your supply fitting (POL adapter, pigtail, or hose assembly -- not included) and hand-tighten, then snug with a wrench. Connect your appliance hose to the 3/8" female NPT outlet. Apply an approved gas-rated thread sealant or PTFE tape to male threads on mating fittings. After connection, perform a leak check with soapy water or an approved gas leak detector before lighting any appliance.
