Many motorhome owners run into the same wall: a single tank feeds the furnace, water heater, and range just fine at home, but add a portable heater, an outdoor grill, or an auxiliary generator, and the system is tapped out. The Camco 59103 solves this with a straightforward in-line tee that installs between the OEM propane supply and the coach regulator.
The brass construction handles the demands of a permanently pressurized propane line, and the excess flow soft-nose POL fitting provides a safety shutoff if a downstream gas line is broken or disconnected unexpectedly. This is not a quick-connect manifold for multiple tanks -- it is designed specifically for motorhomes with a permanently installed (non-removable) propane tank. Do not use on trailers or fifth wheels with removable cylinders.
The soft-nose POL port includes an excess flow valve that automatically restricts gas flow if a connected line is broken or disconnected, reducing the risk of an uncontrolled gas release.

The 59103 adds two functional branches to your existing in-line propane supply path:
Installation places the tee in the high-pressure supply line, upstream of the regulator. The main propane supply line from the coach tank connects to the inlet side of the tee. The existing regulator and coach system plumbing connect to the ACME thread outlet. The remaining ports become your new auxiliary connections.
The 1-inch x 20 male throwaway cylinder port accepts standard 1 lb. propane canisters (the green Coleman-style cylinders). For larger portable cylinders with a POL or QCC1 (Type 1) fitting, an appropriate adapter is required and is sold separately. The kit does not include a regulator for the auxiliary cylinder port -- if connecting a large auxiliary cylinder, install a second-stage regulator on that branch to match your coach system pressure.
