Keep your slide-out seals pliable, protected, and friction-free with Camco's PTFE-fortified foaming conditioner. Designed for full-timers and frequent travelers who need reliable protection against UV exposure, road grime, oxidation, and moisture -- every season, every campsite.
Slide-out rubber seals are exposed to constant stress: UV radiation, ozone, road film, temperature swings, and the mechanical friction of hundreds of extensions and retractions per season. Once a seal hardens, cracks, or starts sticking, water intrusion and costly repairs follow quickly. Camco 41135 is formulated to stop that cycle before it starts.
The easy-spray aerosol delivers a foaming, non-staining formula that penetrates rubber on contact. The PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene) lubricant embedded in the formula keeps seals slick and flexible, so your slide room glides smoothly without dragging, squeaking, or tearing the seal edges. The water-repellent film left behind protects against corrosion-causing moisture and weather intrusion between uses.
Reinforced with PTFE to prevent sticking, reduce operational friction, and keep rubber seals supple through extended use.
Creates a protective barrier against UV radiation and ozone degradation that dry out and crack untreated seals over time.
Expanding foam clings to vertical seal surfaces for full coverage. Formula is non-staining on adjacent walls, trim, and fabric.
Leaves a moisture-resistant coating that repels rain, condensation, and road spray to prevent premature seal deterioration.
This conditioner is compatible with all rubber seals and adjacent surfaces, making it useful for garage doors, entry door gaskets, window seals, bay door seals, and compartment rubber trim -- any rubber-to-surface contact point on your rig.
For best results, clean the seal surface with a damp cloth to remove loose dirt and road film before applying. Shake the aerosol can well, then spray directly onto the rubber seal. Allow the foam to penetrate for 30-60 seconds, then wipe off any excess with a clean cloth. Reapply every 30-60 days during active travel seasons, or any time seals feel stiff or begin to squeak during slide operation.
If you operate your slide-outs daily or live in a high-UV environment (desert Southwest, Florida, coastal areas), condition your seals monthly. In storage or mild climates, a treatment every 60-90 days is typically sufficient to maintain flexibility and water resistance.
