The Camco Kuuma 58196 drops right in and converts that 1-5/8" I.D. opening into a fully adjustable, locking marine grill mount -- no drilling, no permanent modifications. The telescoping post adjusts from 14.8" to 18.8" and a ball-joint swivel plate lets you position the grill at virtually any angle before locking it down tight.
Most boats and pontoons come pre-drilled with standard 1-5/8" flush-mount rod holders. The Kuuma 58196 is engineered to plug directly into that existing hardware and give you a stable, adjustable platform for grilling on the water. Setup takes minutes, and the mount removes just as fast when you are done -- leaving your rod holder available for its original purpose.
The mount uses a dual-clamp locking system: one tension clamp locks the telescoping height, and a second clamp locks the ball-joint swivel plate at your chosen angle. Both hold firmly under normal marine use conditions, including mild wake and wind.
Post adjusts from 14.8" to 18.8" to match your rail height and preferred cooking level. Lock it at any point in that range with the tension clamp.
The top plate pivots freely in multiple axes so you can level the grill even on an angled or uneven rail surface. Tighten the clamp to lock the position.
The telescoping tube is corrosion-resistant stainless steel and aluminum -- built for the salt and fresh water marine environment, not just fair-weather use.
The kit ships with mounting hardware compatible with both Kuuma/Olympian and most Magma rectangle-style grills so you do not need a separate adapter kit.
