Flexible accordion-style sewer hose support cradle that lifts and grades your 3" sewer hose for gravity drainage. Curves around obstacles, holds position without creeping closed, and collapses to 10" for storage. No straps, no staples, no assembly. 1-year warranty.
The Camco Sidewinder is the most widely used sewer hose support in the RV industry for good reason. Without support, an RV sewer hose that runs from the trailer's dump valve to the campground sewer inlet tends to pool — lying flat on the ground in low spots that trap waste and slow or stall drainage. The Sidewinder solves this by cradling the full length of the hose in a sloped accordion-style support that creates a consistent downward grade from start to finish, keeping waste moving by gravity throughout the drain cycle.
The flexible segmented design lets the Sidewinder curve around concrete pads, landscaping, campsite obstacles, and uneven hookup geometries that would prevent a rigid support from working at all. Deep cradles hold the 3" sewer hose securely without straps, and snap-fit hinges prevent the accordion from collapsing on its own once extended. When the job is done, the handle clips around the compressed unit for easy one-hand carry back to the storage compartment.
Built-in slope from 9-3/4" at the high end to 6-3/4" at the low end creates consistent downhill flow for full drainage
Flexible segmented accordion design bends around pads, curbs, and irregular campsite geometry that rigid supports can't navigate
Strong snap-fit hinges hold the accordion open at the set position — no straps, no props needed to keep it extended
Folds down to just 10" for storage in the bumper or a small compartment — carrying handle clips around the compressed unit
Takes about 60 seconds to deploy: 1. Unclip the handle and remove it from the compressed unit 2. Place the high end (9-3/4") nearest the RV and extend the accordion toward the sewer inlet 3. Curve the support around any obstacles as needed — the flexible design holds any shape you give it 4. Lay the sewer hose into the cradles from high end to low end 5. Connect the hose to the dump valve and sewer inlet as normal To extend coverage beyond 15 ft: Connect a second Sidewinder (43031 for 10 ft, or another 43041 for 15 ft) end-to-end using the built-in snap connectors.
• 1x Camco 43041 Sidewinder 15-ft Sewer Hose Support • Carrying handle (clips around compressed unit) Other Sidewinder Sizes: • 43031 — Sidewinder 10-ft • 43061 — Sidewinder 30-ft All Sidewinder sizes connect end-to-end for extended runs.
The Sidewinder has a built-in slope — one end is taller than the other. Always place the taller end (9-3/4") at the RV dump valve and run toward the sewer inlet at the shorter end (6-3/4"). Installing it backwards creates a low point in the middle that traps waste rather than draining it. If the campsite sewer inlet is higher than the RV dump valve, the Sidewinder alone may not overcome the elevation difference — additional height from leveling blocks under the support may be needed.
