Keep your Longitude awning motor protected from the elements with this direct-fit OEM replacement cover. Designed specifically for the right-hand side of Carefree Longitude awnings, it installs in minutes and restores a clean, factory appearance.
The Carefree of Colorado R001831-006 is the factory-correct replacement motor cover for the right side of Longitude series RV awnings. If your existing cover is cracked, faded, broken, or missing, this part restores the motor housing to like-new condition -- protecting the drive motor from sun exposure, rain, road grit, and highway debris.
Carefree designed the Longitude motor cover as a weatherproof shell that fits precisely over the motorized arm head on the right end of the awning as viewed from outside the RV (standing at the roadside, looking at the awning). Mounting hardware is included so you can complete the swap without a hardware-store run.
Correct part for the right-hand motor housing on Carefree Longitude awnings. Not interchangeable with the left-side cover.
Molded in black UV-stabilized plastic to resist fading and cracking through seasons of full-sun exposure on a roof-mounted or slide-mounted awning.
Mounting screws ship with the cover -- no additional fasteners required for a direct replacement on a standard Longitude arm assembly.
OEM Carefree part -- matches the original profile and color exactly so your awning looks factory-correct after the repair.
Stand outside your RV facing the awning from the curb or road side. The right side is on your right as you face the coach. This is typically the side closer to the front of the vehicle on driver-side awnings, but always verify by checking which arm carries the motor -- the motor arm is heavier and contains the drive assembly. Order this part (R001831-006) for that arm. The left-side cover is a separate part number.
This cover is designed specifically for the Carefree Longitude awning series. It is not a universal motor cover and may not fit Carefree Spirit, Fiesta, or Altitude awning arms. Confirm your awning model by checking the label on the roller tube or the awning arm casting before ordering.
