The Coleman Mach 8330-753 Smart Control Center (SCC) is a control box assembly that simply replaces the existing control box inside a compatible Coleman-Mach rooftop air conditioner. Rather than being a smart thermostat itself, the SCC acts as an interface, allowing a residential analog or smart thermostat, an app-controlled thermostat, or a voice-activated device to control the Coleman-Mach AC system, including furnace control through a 24VAC relay installed in the furnace. This makes it possible to bring a favorite smart thermostat into an RV rather than being limited to Coleman-Mach's own wall thermostat options.
This is the control box interface only; it does not include a smart thermostat, display, or built-in WiFi of its own. A separately purchased residential smart thermostat is required to actually gain app or WiFi control - the SCC simply enables that thermostat to communicate with the Coleman-Mach AC and furnace.
