The Aqua-Magic VI was one of Thetford's most widely installed permanent RV toilets, featuring a residential-sized seat and cover with Thetford's SloClose soft-close mechanism to prevent lid slamming. The 49990 white assembly is the correct replacement for all white Aqua-Magic VI models — both high profile (31835, 31839) and low profile (31833, 31837) variants. The parchment-colored Aqua-Magic VI models use a different seat assembly.

This assembly is for white Aqua-Magic VI toilets only. Parchment-colored VI models require the parchment seat and cover assembly (31859). Also confirm your toilet is the Aqua-Magic VI specifically — the Aqua-Magic V (31703), Style II (34144), and other Thetford models use different seat assemblies that are not interchangeable.
