OEM replacement ice maker shut-off arm for Norcold RV refrigerators with ice makers. The arm that activates and deactivates ice production when the ice bin is full. Short arm style. Fits 1200, 1201, 1210, 1211, 2117, N1095, N641, N841, N842, N843, N7LX, N8LX, and N10LX series.
The Norcold 61656922 is the OEM replacement ice maker shut-off arm for Norcold RV refrigerators equipped with ice makers — the short plastic arm that pivots as the ice bin fills and signals the ice maker to pause or resume production. When the bin is full, the rising ice level lifts the arm, which interrupts the ice-making cycle. When ice is removed and the level drops, the arm falls and production resumes.
A broken, bent, or missing shut-off arm causes the ice maker to either run continuously (overfilling the bin to the point of ice jamming or spilling) or not run at all (if the arm is stuck in the up position). This arm is the same short-style component across a wide range of Norcold ice-maker-equipped models. RV Fridge Guys specifically note that replacement ice maker assemblies do not include this arm — it must be ordered separately when replacing the full ice maker unit.
• 1x Norcold 61656922 ice maker shut-off arm Replacement ice maker assembly (arm not included): • 633324 / 621266 — Norcold ice maker assembly (fits most models) Other ice maker parts: • 639086 — Ice maker wire harness (fits all Norcold ice makers) • 620039 — Water tube fitting (fits all models with ice maker) • 618406 — AC power cord (ice maker models with "IM" in model number)
If you are replacing your Norcold ice maker assembly (633324 or 621266), note that the shut-off arm is not included with the new ice maker. If your existing arm is broken, bent, or missing, order this part (61656922) separately alongside the ice maker assembly.
Ice maker runs continuously / overflows the bin: The arm is broken, stuck down, or missing — the ice maker never receives the "full" signal. Replace this arm. Ice maker won't run at all: The arm may be stuck in the up (full) position due to a broken pivot point, ice jam, or the arm being accidentally pushed up. Inspect the arm's position and pivot before replacing the full ice maker assembly. A $15 shut-off arm is worth checking before replacing the full ice maker assembly.
