Hi-arc touchless kitchen faucet with pull-down sprayer and single lever handle. 360° swivel spout, disc cartridge, lead-free brass body. 1-hole install. Requires 4 AA batteries. Limited lifetime warranty.
The Dura Faucet DF-NMK540-MB brings touchless convenience to the RV kitchen — a feature previously found only in high-end residential faucets. A simple touch of the faucet body activates the water flow via the built-in sensor, letting you start and stop the water with a wrist, forearm, or elbow tap when your hands are full or dirty. This is a meaningful upgrade for RV living, where conserving water and avoiding cross-contamination while cooking are everyday priorities.
The faucet pairs the touch sensor with a practical pull-down sprayer, giving you the flexibility to rinse large pots, wash produce, or clean the sink basin without awkward maneuvering. The 360-degree swivel spout ensures every corner of the sink is within reach. Built from a corrosion- and rust-resistant brass body with a durable matte black finish, the DF-NMK540-MB is designed to handle the moisture and vibration of RV life while elevating the look of any RV kitchen. Dura Faucet backs it with a limited lifetime warranty registered through their US-based support team.
Tap anywhere on the faucet body to start or stop flow — ideal for hands-free use while cooking or cleaning
Retractable pull-down hose extends reach for rinsing large pots, produce, and the sink basin with ease
Full rotation puts water exactly where you need it — covers the entire sink from corner to corner
Auto shut-off after 3 minutes of continuous flow protects against accidental waste and battery drain
The DF-NMK540-MB uses a capacitive touch sensor built into the faucet body. Touching any metal surface of the faucet — the spout, the base, or the lever — sends a signal to the battery-powered control valve under the sink, which opens or closes water flow. Key behaviors to know: • Touch on / Touch off: One touch starts flow, one touch stops it — no need to hold • Lever still works: The single lever handle controls water temperature and can also start/stop flow manually, independent of the sensor • 3-minute auto shut-off: If the sensor is accidentally triggered and left running, the faucet automatically shuts off after 3 minutes to conserve water and battery life • Battery-powered sensor: Four AA batteries power the control module mounted under the sink — the sensor does not affect the lever's manual operation if batteries are dead The battery case must be secured to the cabinet wall (screw or Command strip) — it cannot hang freely for proper electrical contact.
Batteries required: The touch sensor will not function without four installed AA batteries in the control module. The faucet's lever handle operates normally without batteries, but the touch sensor feature is disabled. Antifreeze incompatibility: The touch sensor control valve will not operate when RV antifreeze is present in the supply lines. The faucet must be connected to a water supply, not antifreeze. Flush lines thoroughly before use after winterizing. Battery case mounting: The battery case under the sink must be secured to a cabinet wall using a screw or Command strip — it cannot hang from the supply hoses. This is required for proper sensor operation and is not optional. Plumber's tape recommended: Use thread seal tape on all threaded fittings during installation to minimize the risk of leaks.
Tools & Materials Needed: Adjustable wrench, plumber's tape, Phillips screwdriver, screw or Command strip, 4 AA batteries Installation Steps: 1. Shut off water supply and remove the old faucet. Clean the sink deck surface. 2. Seat the faucet: Place faucet and washer on the sink top, feed hoses through the center hole, then secure with washers and lock nut from below. 3. Connect supply lines: Attach hot (A) and cold (B) marked supply hoses. Use plumber's tape on all threaded connections. 4. Install the weight: Attach the pull-down hose weight at your preferred distance from the spray head — this controls how far the sprayer pulls out. 5. Install the control valve: Attach the flow control sensor to both ends of the pull-down hose with the arrow pointing toward the spout. 6. Mount the battery case: Secure the battery case to a cabinet wall with a screw or Command strip — it cannot hang freely. 7. Flush lines: Remove the spray head, turn on supply, and run hot and cold for 30–60 seconds each. Check for leaks. Replace spray head. 8. Install batteries: Insert 4 AA batteries in the control module and test touch sensor operation.
