Flow-Rite Part No. BM-100-RP Group 24-31 Deep-Cycle Flow-Rite BM-100-RP Replacement Manifold for Qwik-Fill Battery Watering Systems

Keep your Qwik-Fill watering system operating at full efficiency with this direct-fit replacement manifold. Designed for group 24 through 31 deep-cycle batteries, it drops into your existing system with no special tools and no modification required.

Stop Uneven Watering Before It Kills Your Battery Bank

A cracked, warped, or degraded manifold body is one of the most common failure points in Qwik-Fill battery watering systems. When the manifold loses integrity, cells water unevenly, pressure relief stops working correctly, and you risk overwatering -- one of the leading causes of premature deep-cycle battery failure in RV and off-grid battery banks.

The Flow-Rite BM-100-RP is the factory-specified replacement manifold for the Qwik-Fill single-point watering system. It restores correct flow distribution across all cells and brings the pressure relief valve function back to spec, so every cell gets the right amount of water -- no more, no less.

Direct Replacement Fit

Designed as an exact replacement for Flow-Rite Qwik-Fill manifolds on group 24, 27, and 31 deep-cycle batteries. No adapter fittings needed.

Built-In Pressure Relief

Integrated pressure relief valve prevents overfilling and protects cell plates from electrolyte displacement damage.

Multi-Port Flow Design

Multiple outlet ports distribute water evenly across all cells in a single fill operation -- consistent electrolyte levels in every cell.

Acid-Resistant Construction

Manifold body is molded from chemical-resistant polypropylene rated for repeated exposure to battery electrolyte (sulfuric acid solution).

Who Needs This Part

If your existing Qwik-Fill manifold shows any of the following, it is time to replace it:

  • Cracked or brittle manifold body from age or heat exposure
  • Leaking around port connections during a fill cycle
  • Uneven cell fill levels after a complete watering cycle
  • Pressure relief valve no longer seating or releasing correctly
  • Discoloration or swelling from electrolyte exposure

RV owners running flooded lead-acid house banks, golf cart battery packs, industrial fork truck batteries, and off-grid solar battery arrays all use Flow-Rite Qwik-Fill systems. This manifold replacement applies across all of those use cases as long as the battery group size is within the 24-31 range.

Why Manifold Condition Matters

A single-point watering system is only as good as its manifold. Even small cracks allow pressure to equalize before all cells are filled, leaving some cells low and others overfilled. Over time, inconsistent electrolyte levels cause plate sulfation in low cells and acid stratification in overfilled ones -- both of which permanently reduce battery capacity. Replacing a worn manifold is one of the highest-value maintenance actions you can take for a flooded lead-acid bank.

Qwik-Fill System Compatibility

The BM-100-RP manifold is designed for the Flow-Rite Qwik-Fill single-point battery watering product line. It is compatible with standard Qwik-Fill fill valve assemblies and interconnect tubing. If you are building out or repairing a full Qwik-Fill system, Flow-Rite also offers complete kits for 2-, 4-, 6-, and 8-battery configurations -- the BM-100-RP can serve as a service replacement within any of those kits.

Installation Overview

Replacing the manifold requires no special tools. General process:

  • Disconnect the existing tubing and fill valve from the old manifold
  • Lift out the worn manifold body from the battery cell openings
  • Seat the BM-100-RP into the same cell vent positions
  • Reconnect tubing and fill valve to the new manifold ports
  • Perform a test fill with distilled water to confirm even flow and no leaks

Note: Always wear appropriate eye protection and acid-resistant gloves when working near flooded lead-acid batteries. Disconnect chargers before servicing the watering system.

Important Information

  • Battery group size matters: The BM-100-RP is sized for group 24, 27, and 31 batteries. It is not designed for smaller batteries (group 22, 4D) or AGM/gel cells -- those battery types do not use single-point watering systems.
  • Flooded (wet cell) batteries only: AGM and gel batteries are sealed and must never be watered. This manifold has no application on sealed battery types.
  • Use distilled water only: Always fill deep-cycle batteries with distilled or deionized water. Tap water minerals contaminate electrolyte and accelerate plate degradation.
  • Safety first: Wear chemical splash goggles and acid-resistant gloves when servicing any flooded lead-acid battery. Electrolyte contains dilute sulfuric acid and can cause serious injury on contact with skin or eyes.
  • Tubing and valves sold separately: This listing covers the manifold body only. If your fill valve or interconnect tubing is also damaged, order those components separately.
  • Charge state before watering: For best results, water flooded batteries after a full charge cycle when electrolyte levels are at their highest and you can accurately assess the fill needed.
