Flooded lead-acid deep-cycle batteries need regular watering to stay healthy, but overfilling is just as damaging as running them dry. The Flow-Rite Pro-Fill system solves both problems at once. Each automatic shut-off valve is engineered to stop water flow the instant electrolyte reaches the correct level -- no float gauge, no checking each cell individually, and no acid spills from overfilling.
The BG-U48V-7A is the universal 48V configuration, designed to water eight 6-volt batteries or four 12-volt batteries wired to produce a 48V system. That covers the most common configurations used in RV coach battery banks, golf car replacement setups, floor scrubbers, aerial work platforms, and other equipment running on 48V deep-cycle packs.

Installation replaces each existing vent cap on your flooded battery cells with a Pro-Fill shut-off valve. Once all valves are in place and the manifold tubing is connected between valves and batteries, the entire bank is linked hydraulically. When you attach a water supply to the single fill point and open the valve, water travels through the manifold and into each cell simultaneously. The float mechanism inside each valve closes off flow to that cell the moment it reaches the proper fill level, even if other cells are still accepting water. When all cells are satisfied, flow stops at the fill point -- your signal that the job is done.
The BG-U48V-7A is designed for flooded (wet-cell) lead-acid deep-cycle batteries. It is not compatible with sealed AGM, gel-cell, or lithium batteries, which require no watering. Confirm your battery type before ordering.
Water supply hose and pump are not included. A Flow-Rite hand pump or gravity-feed bottle can be used as the water source.
For the most convenient watering experience, use this system with a Flow-Rite hand pump bottle or an automatic pump kit. The single fill point on the BG-U48V-7A accepts standard Flow-Rite quick-connect fittings, making it easy to connect and disconnect your water supply without tools.
