The interior half of a high-efficiency RV air conditioning system. This low-profile ceiling air distribution assembly pairs with Furrion Chill, Chill HE, and Chill Cube rooftop AC units (R32 refrigerant, 2025 and newer) to deliver quiet, directed comfort inside your rig -- controlled by electronic single-zone or multi-zone wall thermostats.
Furrion redesigned their Chill platform around R32 refrigerant starting in 2025, and the FACT12CA2-PS-AM is the dedicated indoor ceiling assembly for that updated lineup. It handles air distribution, return air intake, and integrates directly with Furrion's electronic thermostat ecosystem -- no adapters, no compatibility guesswork when paired with the matching Chill rooftop unit.
The low-profile housing keeps the ceiling intrusion minimal, which matters in Class A coaches, fifth wheels, and travel trailers where headroom is at a premium. Multi-directional louvers let you aim conditioned air toward the living space, galley, or sleeping area rather than blasting straight down.
Designed exclusively for Furrion Chill, Chill HE, and Chill Cube rooftop units using R32 refrigerant (2025 and newer generation).
Integrates with Furrion electronic single-zone and multi-zone wall thermostats without additional wiring adapters.
Adjustable louvers direct conditioned air where you need it, reducing hot and cold spots throughout the cabin.
Slim ceiling housing minimizes interior height loss -- a practical advantage in rigs where every inch of headroom counts.
The ceiling assembly is the indoor air-handling component of the split-style Furrion Chill AC system. The rooftop unit (sold separately) contains the compressor and condenser; this ceiling box contains the evaporator coil, blower, and distribution plenum. Together they form a complete zone of air conditioning for one area of your RV.
The unit mounts through the standard ceiling cutout and connects to the rooftop unit via the refrigerant lines and control wiring routed through the roof opening. The electronic control board inside the assembly communicates with Furrion wall thermostats for precise temperature management and, in multi-zone setups, coordinated operation across multiple ceiling assemblies.
The FACT12CA2-PS-AM is compatible with Furrion's multi-zone control architecture. In a multi-zone installation, each ceiling assembly operates as an independent zone controlled from a single or zone-specific Furrion electronic wall thermostat. Ideal for larger coaches where the front lounge and rear bedroom require independent temperature settings.
This ceiling assembly is designed for the R32-refrigerant generation of Furrion Chill products (2025 and newer). It is NOT compatible with earlier Furrion Chill systems that use R410A refrigerant. Confirm your rooftop unit's refrigerant type before purchasing. The rooftop AC unit and refrigerant lines are NOT included with this ceiling assembly.
The blower assembly inside the FACT12CA2-PS-AM is tuned for quiet operation -- an important factor in sleeping areas and small cabin environments where a loud fan motor undermines comfort. Multiple fan speed settings (controlled via the wall thermostat) let you balance airflow volume against noise level based on the cooling demand at any given time.
The multi-directional louver system gives you manual control over throw direction. Angling air along the ceiling line promotes better circulation compared to a straight downward discharge, which can feel drafty when seated directly beneath the unit.
Unlike mechanical thermostat systems that rely on simple on/off switching, the FACT12CA2-PS-AM uses a digital control interface that communicates system status, fan speed, and operating mode back to the Furrion wall thermostat. This enables features like scheduled cooling, real-time temperature display, and multi-zone coordination from a single thermostat panel. The wall thermostat and rooftop AC unit are sold separately.
