Gain additional truck-to-trailer clearance during low-speed maneuvering with the Husky Towing 32042 fifth wheel hitch slider. Designed for Husky W Series fifth wheel hitches, this 26,000-lb-rated glider provides 10" of travel on quiet, durable composite glide rails.
The Husky Towing 32042 is designed to provide additional clearance between the truck cab and fifth wheel trailer during slow, sharp turns. Its 10" travel allows the hitch position to move rearward when maneuvering, making it especially useful for compatible short-bed pickup applications.
Instead of traditional metal rollers, the glider moves along high-tech composite rails that reduce metal-to-metal contact, noise, and wear. Husky's patented no-bind latching mechanism and ergonomic T-handle also make the slider easier to unlock and operate, even when the truck and trailer are positioned at an angle.
Rated for fifth wheel trailers up to 26,000 lbs.
Provides additional truck-to-trailer clearance during low-speed turns
Reduces metal-to-metal contact for quieter, smoother operation
Patented mechanism helps prevent jamming and binding during operation
The slider should only be used in the rearward maneuvering position at low speeds. Return the hitch to the forward towing position and verify that it is securely locked before normal travel.
The 10" sliding travel provides additional cab-to-trailer clearance during low-speed maneuvering and is intended for compatible short-bed pickup applications with beds at least 6-1/2' long.
Compatible fifth wheel base rails and vehicle-specific mounting brackets are required and sold separately. The slider fits base rail slots spaced 20-5/8" apart and is designed for use with Husky fifth wheel hitch components.
