The 11mm fiberglass pole set keeps the overall weight manageable at 35.5 lbs while still providing the rigidity needed to resist moderate wind loads. Fiberglass poles will not conduct electricity, will not corrode in coastal or humid environments, and do not dent like aluminum if the frame is folded improperly during storage.
