Lippert 2024121179 -- 15 ft RV Sewer Kit with Clear Elbow and Storage Caps
Everything you need to connect your RV waste tanks to a campsite sewer hookup or dump station. This Lippert kit ships with 15 feet of thick-wall 25 mil orange hose, a multi-fit clear elbow for monitoring flow, two bayonet-style storage caps to seal both ends between uses, and pre-installed gaskets. Unbox it, connect it, and go -- no separate trips to the parts store.
Most budget sewer hoses ship at 15 mil wall thickness. Lippert chose 25 mil for this kit -- that is a 67 percent thicker wall that resists puncture on rough gravel pads, holds its shape under the weight of extended hookups, and reduces the risk of micro-tears that cause odor bleed. If you have ever thrown away a cheap hose after a single season, the upgrade to 25 mil is an immediate improvement.
The orange color is a standard field identifier that makes the hose easy to spot in low-light dump situations. The 15 ft length handles the majority of full-hookup sites and dump stations without needing an extension, though extensions can be added if your rig sits further from the clean-out.
Heavy-duty hose wall resists crushing and puncture on gravel or concrete pads through repeated seasons of use.
Transparent elbow lets you visually confirm flow is clear before closing valves -- no more guessing at the tank end.
Bayonet-style caps seal both the tank fitting end and the elbow end between uses, controlling odor during transit and storage.
Hose-end gaskets are included and seated at the factory, so the kit is connection-ready straight from the packaging.
Note: A separate hose support or hose carrier is NOT included. Hose supports are sold separately and are recommended to maintain proper downhill pitch when the distance between your rig and the sewer inlet is uneven.
The transparent elbow fitting at the sewer inlet end allows you to watch waste flow as you dump. When the discharge runs clear, you know the black tank flush is complete. This simple visual check prevents premature valve closing and reduces odor-causing residue left in the tank.
Both ends of the hose use the standard 3-inch bayonet-style lug fitting that is universal across the vast majority of North American RV waste valve outlets. The multi-fit elbow is designed to seat into standard 3-inch campground sewer inlet openings. No tools are required for connection -- rotate to lock on the tank fitting, seat the elbow into the ground inlet, and dump.
If your site's sewer inlet uses a smaller opening or a threaded adapter, a separate inlet adapter may be needed. Standard bayonet-to-bayonet connections require no additional hardware.
Need more reach? A standard Lippert or compatible 10 ft extension hose with bayonet fittings connects directly to the end of this kit. Extensions sold separately. The clear elbow should always be installed at the sewer inlet end, not in the middle of the run, so that the visual flow check remains effective.
Before the first trip of each camping season, unroll the hose completely and inspect the full length under good lighting. Look for white stress marks, thin spots, or cracks near the bayonet collars. A damaged sewer hose can fail at the worst possible moment -- catching it in the off-season costs nothing. Replacing it when it shows wear costs far less than a spill cleanup.
