Consistent water pressure across every fixture in your RV. The Lippert Flow Max 689052 delivers 3.0 gallons per minute at 50 PSI -- enough pressure for larger coaches with extended plumbing runs, multiple fixtures, or a full bathroom. Built with a corrosion-resistant motor, a self-priming design that pulls water from up to 6 feet below the pump inlet, and dry-run protection so it won't burn out if the tank runs empty. Certified NSF/ANSI 372 for drinking water safety. Backed by a 2-year warranty.
The Flow Max 689052 is Lippert's answer to the SHURflo 4008 series -- a direct-replacement 12V demand pump sized for Class A, Class C, and fifth-wheel coaches where water pressure consistency matters. At 50 PSI shutoff, it maintains pressure that matches or exceeds what most campground hookups provide, so you won't notice a drop in performance when running off your fresh tank.
The demand-activated pressure switch cycles the pump on when you open a faucet and shuts it off automatically when the line reaches operating pressure. No manual switching required. The 3-chamber diaphragm design minimizes pulsation, keeping flow smooth at the showerhead and kitchen sink alike.
Strong delivery for multi-fixture RVs, longer plumbing runs, and full bathroom setups.
High-pressure output maintains consistent flow pressure at every faucet and showerhead.
Primes itself from up to 6 feet below the inlet -- no manual priming needed after install.
Pump survives running without water, protecting against accidental tank run-outs.
Strainer/filter prevents debris from entering the pump head. A downstream pressure regulator is recommended when connecting to city water -- this pump is not a pressure regulator.
The Lippert 689052 is engineered as a drop-in replacement for the SHURflo 4008-101-A65, 4008-101-E65, and related 4008 series pumps. Mounting footprint, port locations, and 1/2 inch barbed inlet/outlet fittings are compatible with existing plumbing and mount points in most RV applications that used a SHURflo 4008. No adapter fittings or rewiring required in most installations.
NSF/ANSI 372 certification means the Flow Max is verified for low lead content and is safe for use in potable (drinking) water systems. Internal wetted components -- including the pump head, diaphragm, and check valves -- are made from materials rated for contact with drinking water. This is the same standard required for residential plumbing fixtures.
The 689052 mounts in the same footprint as the SHURflo 4008 series using four screws into the base plate. Ports accept 1/2 inch NPT fittings or barbed 1/2 inch hose connections. The pump requires a fused 12V DC power source -- use a minimum 10-amp inline fuse on the positive lead. Locate the pump as close to the fresh water tank as possible to maximize self-priming performance. Anti-vibration mounting pads are recommended to reduce noise transmission through the coach floor (sold separately).
