The Remco RMC585410 is the purpose-built PTO coupler for RollMax R440 and R660 series transfer pumps. It accommodates both 540 RPM and 1000 RPM tractor PTO speeds on a standard 5/8" shaft, giving you flexibility across multiple power sources without swapping hardware. Cast from aluminum and zinc with positive-retention set screws, it delivers a solid, vibration-resistant connection for demanding fuel, water, and liquid transfer applications.
Remco designed the RMC585410 specifically for their R440 and R660 pump families -- the workhorse transfer pumps widely used on farms, ranches, and service rigs for diesel, gasoline, water, and agricultural chemical transfer. The multi-speed design means one coupler covers both common North American PTO shaft standards: 540 RPM (common on utility and compact tractors) and 1000 RPM (standard on larger row-crop and commercial tractors).
The 5/8" shaft bore fits the standard PTO stub shaft diameter used across most mid-size tractor and power unit applications. Set screws lock the coupler onto the shaft securely, preventing slippage under load and protecting the pump from torque shock during engagement.
Works at both 540 RPM and 1000 RPM PTO speeds -- no coupler swap needed when changing power sources.
Fits the standard 5/8" PTO stub shaft found on most mid-size and compact tractors and portable power units.
Durable, corrosion-resistant metal casting handles the torque and vibration of continuous PTO-driven pump operation.
Positive-locking set screws prevent coupler slippage under load and provide secure shaft engagement.
The RMC585410 is the correct PTO coupler for Remco's R440 and R660 series RollMax transfer pumps. It is also included as a component in the R660C-TAK complete pump kit. If you are replacing a worn or damaged coupler on an existing pump, the RMC585410 is the correct service part.
The RMC585410 coupler ships as a standalone replacement part and is also included in Remco's R660C-TAK PTO pump kit. If you already have the complete kit, you do not need to order this separately unless you are replacing a damaged coupler.
PTO-driven equipment requires proper shaft guarding during operation. Always install and secure the PTO shaft guard before engaging the power takeoff. Never operate with an unguarded rotating PTO shaft. Ensure the pump, hoses, and coupler are fully secured before starting the power source.
